A radicalHussite; an adherent of radical Hussitism at the time of the Bohemian Reformation, who rejected the unique authority of the Catholic Church in matters of faith and was considered heretical.
Origin
From Czech Táborita. Equivalent to Tabor + -ite, after Tábor, a hill or fortress where they encamped during the Hussite Wars, later a town. See also Czech tábor.
